Pre-Marital Counseling

If you have been married before, I am especially passionate about working with you and your partner to ensure greater marital success the second or third time around. We uncover patterns that may be unconscious to you and your partner so that they can be addressed and new skills can be learned in communication, handling conflict, and blending your families together easily.
Marriage Counseling
I teach couples the skills necessary to communicate more effectively, along with healthy ways to resolve conflict, and how to improve their admiration and appreciation for each other. I use an online assessment (The Gottman Relationship Checkup) and tools from the Gottman Institute to assess where you are now in your relationship and where you want to be. I have been trained in “The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work” workshop and offer training to couples in an intimate classroom setting every other month. Once a year, I offer a Couples Retreat for an intensive experience where many couples have a breakthrough to the healing and reconnection that they need to move forward.
Good, healthy, passionate marriages don’t just happen! They are made by two people who want to learn the skills necessary to fall and stay in love, year after year!
